I have been fairly athletic most of my life, but when it comes to working out, my workouts have always lacked structure. I normally just so some of this, and that, and never really recorded my workouts, or tracked my progress. It had occurred to me that this might be helpful, but putting together a comprehensive workout, is much more difficult than it sounds.

Then one day I say an infomercial for P90X which promises to "get you absolutely ripped in just 90 days!" That is quite a claim and I quickly dismissed it as just a marketing gimmick. However a few weeks later my roommate asked me if I ad ever heard about P90X. After hearing about it for the second time I did a little research online and became more interested. However it was not until a week later when I was at another friends house(who I consider to be a fitness authority) , and he told me that he was in the middle of P90x and that it was the best and most comprehensive workout plan had ever seen. Not only does it cover exercise, but it covers diet as well. P90X plans out you road to getting "absolutely ripped," in just 90 days.

After hearing so much about it I decided to give it a try. I just placed my order about an hour ago and I should be receiving it in the next few days. My plan is to start on Monday April 6th and post updates at least twice a week.

After doing some research online I found out that the workout equipment needed for P90X consists of: dumbbells or tension bands, push up bars, pull up bar, and a yoga mat is optional.  For pull ups I purchased and Iron Gym pull up bar, that also doubles as push up bar, although I already have a set of perfect push ups.

After a few weeks of sticking with the program I will begin to post reviews of the equipment I will be using.

Bodylastics Max Tension Workout Bands

Living in a small apartment with space being at a premium, and being on a budget I decided to go with the tension bands. After doing some research on the internet, I bough a set of Bodylastics Max Tension workout bands.
